How to rename files not downloaded from radarr
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:. Sorry, something went wrong. I have the same problem, but do I need to setup drone in order for radarr to rename the files?
Prolly takes minutes to automagically do it. I have 2 movies downloaded, Radarr is not moving and renaming and I try to do a manual import and the only thin that happen is the moving ball from left to right.
I have the same problem. Version 0. When I try manual import I get this in the logs:. The renaming configuration doesn't work and i'm in my last build using the nightly version. Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Radarr:. This is an update: I remove completely radarr from the computer. I installed it in the same computer as sonarr and made the same installation configuration.
I even change the service of radarr to load with the username of the computer, so that it can see the network storage same as sonarr but different folder. Why I have to do always the manual move of the movie.
I have the exact same settings in Sonarr and it's working perfect. Just to be clear, this issue is being seen only when using the Drone Factory Folder, correct? First thanks to the developer I know you are working hard to make a great app. I have try both way, with and without Drone Factory Folder. Radarr will import movie files into the path listed in the movie details page. Hello galli-leo , could you please re-open this issue? I believe the op is also telling that the movie is getting renamed when it should not be.
I can also confirm this issue, and it has nothing to do with folder renaming Please take a look into the screenshots below, as I may be missing something My settings:. If I try to download, my qbittorrent will show a renamed version, even when I explicitly set Radarr not to rename:. This is the source, and the file should be exactly the same. This behavior was not happening on the previous release 0. What am I missing here? Okay, I did some further testing and apparently this is only happening on YIFY releases I believe it may be related to multiple trackers having different names for the same release.
However, the YIFY thing does not seem right, and maybe theres something going on This appears to be here now. Previously when I hit the 'preview rename' icon it would pop with a blank list saying "all's good".
But I do see it now. Tried updating library, then organize, radarr will NOT rename existing folders. Am I missing something? Unfortunately, I've been unable to get this property to change in bulk using the movie editor. I've had to do it individually per movie. Also, the way this renamer has been implemented doesn't work as I'd have expected.
It doesn't actually rename the folder, it creates a new folder and movies the movie file into it. This is hardly desirable. This creates a bunch of duplicate folders with any files other than the movie file subtitles, artwork, etc.
Maybe we can have a toggle if we understand the risks and want the folder renamed in place? Any ETA on this feature getting implemented? I just need it to do what CouchPotato has been doing for organizing existing movie folders. For now subtitles and other extra files are not moved though, since we haven't implemented support for them yet. Would it not be better to rename the existing folder?
Renaming the existing folder in place would also prevent the subtitles, etc. Does it Rename the directory so all files in dir stay in tact? Or will it create new folder, leaving orphaned scraped data in old folder? It does NOT rename the directory. It creates a new folder and only moves the movie file to the new folder. It leaves an orphaned folder with any other files that you need to manually move or delete.
This has been implemented poorly. I use, Batch Rename Files Tool. You can easily found hier go to google. This seems to be a major oversight on the implementation of this feature which causes unneeded headaches. Because for now, a lot of people seem content with the "buggy" solution we currently have.
Also it probably won't be actual renaming for the final solution but rather fully dynamic paths. Setting up Radarr is really simple. First download the copy that you would like to use and install it as you would any normal program. We use the Docker version on our Linux server and you can read about how to install that here. Open the Settings menu and turn on the yellow Advanced Settings tab on the right. The first tab within Settings is Media Management. Radarr has the ability to take the files it downloads and rename them according to your preferences.
Other than the Episode Naming section, no other settings within Media Management needs to be changed. Profiles is where Radarr looks to determine what type of media to look for. We own Blurays which are p, but since we will be watching our movies on a smaller television we used the p profile.
Under Profiles there is another section called Delay Profiles. Here you can decide whether you would like Radarr to prefer Usenet, or Torrents. The Quality tab is next, and is used to adjust the sizes of the movies that Radarr grabs.
