Parametric sketch file downloads

Go to Solution. Solved by jhackney Thank you for this response. I agree, those dimensions should be more clear. I had to import dxf cut file for this "haak" part that was made by another person in Illustrator because another parts fit exactly with this one. Then I wanted to constrain it so I can add another pieces.

I suppose I'll make it from scratch and then I have to make some test cuts. To sum up my original question, is it not possible to make a parametric sketch, add an extrusion and then change parameters updating both the sketch and the feature? Of course that is possible. That is the whole purpose of a parametric CAD system such as Fusion However, without fully defined fully constrained and fully dimensioned sketches you cannot hope for a predictable result.

You need to do some sketch constraining, as mentioned by others, but I just wanted to modify your model to demonstrate how to Pattern your Features, not your sketches to make a working model. As I mentioned in the Screencast, I removed a dimension so I could change the bar height and not change the hook shape.

Take a look at the Screencast, the model is attached. Stuck on a workflow? Have a tricky question about a Fusion feature? Hello, I have to make a parametric sketch of a plate with little hook-like shapes on sides, where the number of those hooks is dependent on the height of a plate.
