Hi, Looks like 4 days and about 20 restarts later my computer has broken the loop and is now offering to get started on windows 10 update rather than asking me to restart. Will see how the upgrade goes In reply to Jeff's post on August 6, So I ended up solving the problem on my end. I assume that the last kb patch or so I received from Windows Update messed up and Windows thought it still needed to restart to install it though it was "installed".
It took about two days but then I got prompted to restart the pc for Windows 10 to finally install. So i'm all set, this method may work out for you if you had the exact same problem as the original post I made a week or so ago. I need help. In reply to BillGryson's post on December 29,
